In 2015, 158 women were killed by intimate partners. 1 in 3 Texans experience Domestic Violence in their lifetime. The Texas Family Violence Program received 183,294 Hotline Calls, The National Domestic Violence Hotline received 16,624 calls and 1,125 chat requests were from Texas alone. (According to the Texas Council on Family Violence)
In 2015, I was one of those callers, because I was a victim of Domestic Violence. Since that time, I've dedicated myself to working with individuals and businesses to eradicate Domestic Violence.
